House rules apply in this company. In these regulations, we explain the most important house rules to you. Even if these regulations do not explicitly comply, or if matters are not mentioned in them, the management and board of directors have the authority to deny anyone access with immediate effect. We ask you to respect and accept the rules.
- At check-in, valid identification must be shown by each guest upon request of the front-office staff.
- Check-in is possible from the age of 18.
- For check-in without reservation, a so-called walk-in, we always require a deposit in cash or by credit card authorisation of €250.00
- When checking into one of our suites, we always apply a deposit of €250.00. This deposit will be returned or a credit card authorisation will be released if the room is found to be in order at check-out.
- It is not allowed to stay in the room with more people than the number of people specified in the booking. Expecting visitors? You can take your visit to our Bar Brasserie or Restaurant on the ground floor. Visitors are not allowed in the swimming pool, fitness and spa.
- For fire safety reasons, it is not allowed to burn candles and/or incense in the hotel rooms.
- If property is deliberately damaged, we will hold you liable for the costs and will report it to the police.
- Use and/or trafficking of narcotics is prohibited. Upon detection, you will be immediately removed from the hotel, the amount paid for your stay will not be refunded.
- Use and/or trafficking of nitrous oxide (supplies) is prohibited. Upon detection, you will be immediately removed from the hotel, the amount paid for your stay will not be refunded.
- Please do not disturb our other guests through loud music, unruly behaviour or noise of any kind.
- We respect your privacy. However, we are always authorised to enter your room in case of or suspected non-compliance with our house rules.
- Van der Valk Hotel Gorinchem is not responsible for loss and/or theft of your belongings. We advise you to use the safe in your room at all times.
- Verbal and/or physical violence towards staff members and/or fellow guests will not be tolerated. If this is directed at an employee, we will always report it to the police immediately.
- We operate a zero tolerance policy. This means that, in case of non-compliance with our house rules, no warning will be given and you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. There will be no refund of any amounts already paid and any deposit paid will be retained.
